The Songbird Music Academy's mission is to provide students with the training to improvise, compose and develop their individual artistic identity.
It is founded on tried and true music pedagogical methods such as Partimento, Thorough Bass, Solfeggio, Improvisation, Composition and development of stylistic diversity
PARTIMENTO
A fun, effective way to develop musical ability that's been effective for centuries.
Originally from the Naples Conservatories of Italy in the 1700s, Partimento emerged as an effective way to comprehensively teach students Harmony, Counterpoint and Improvisation.
